We are looking for a System Administrator (Backup) – Level 3 for Shared Services Canada with a Security Clearance Level of Secret.

The proposed resource must meet the ff:

1. The bidder must clearly demonstrate the proposed resource has a minimum of three (3) years of experience with Enterprise Backup Setup and Installation, Backup Maintenance and Support, Backup Analytics, Trend Analysis, Capacity Planning, System Administration, including Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery scenarios in a large-scale Enterprise Backup environment.

2. The bidder must clearly demonstrate the proposed resource has a minimum of three (3) years of experience working in at least three (3) of these environments: Aix, Solaris, Linux, Unix, Windows, VMWARE, Mainframe.

3. The bidder must clearly demonstrate the proposed resource has a minimum of three (3) years of experience with backup tools such as, but not limited to: NetBackup, Networker, Commvault, IBM Spectrum Protect, Quantum.

4. The bidder must clearly demonstrate the proposed resource has a minimum of three (3) years of experience using and configuring in a Storage in an Enterprise Backup environment, but not limited to, NetApp, Dell/EMC, HDS, IBM, HPE.

5. The bidder must clearly demonstrate the proposed resource holds a valid Security Clearance at the Secret level, issued by PWGSC-CISD (file number and expiry date must be provided.)

6. The bidder must clearly demonstrate the proposed resource has a valid driver’s permit.
