Overview

We are looking for a Project Leader/Executive - Level 3 for the Department of National Defence Canada with a Security Clearance Level of Secret.

We are looking for a Project Leader/Executive – Level 3 for the Department of National Defence Canada with a Security Clearance Level of Secret.

The proposed resource must meet the ff:

1. The Bidder’s proposed resource must have a university degree from a recognized* academic institution in either engineering or applied sciences

* The list of recognized Universities can be found on the Canadian Information Centre for International Credentials Directory, at the following link: http://www.cicic.ca/868/Search-the-Directory-of-Educational-Institutions-in-Canada/index.canada.

2. The Bidder’s proposed resource must demonstrate a minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience in an executive role* in the aerospace sustainment industry within the last fifteen (15) years from the date of bid closing.

*An Executive role is defined as President, Executive Vice-President, Vice-President, or General Manager.

3. The Bidder’s proposed resource must demonstrate a minimum of five (5) years within the last fifteen (15) years from the date of bid closing of experience in preparing commercial bid(s) for performance-based aerospace sustainment contract(s)**.

**Performance-based contract is a contract that is focused on contracting outcomes rather than contracting specific activities. Rewards & remedies and/or the method of payment are normally tied to the level of performance being delivered.

4. The Bidder’s proposed resource must demonstrate that the proposed resource has a minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated work experience with in-service support program(s) of the aerospace system(s) involving a sustainment contract*** within the last fifteen (15) years from the date of bid closing.

***Sustainment contract is defined as one that is contracting multiple lines of in-service support activities (i.e. program management, engineering, production, material management, etc.) in order words, not simply a Repair and Overhaul (R&O) contract.

5. The Bidder’s proposed resource must have designed, developed, and delivered a course of a minimum duration of 2 days within the last fifteen (15) years from the date of bid closing.

6. The Bidder’s proposed resource must have a minimum of two (2) years of demonstrated experience within the last fifteen (15) years from the date of bid closing in producing the financial models to estimate associated costs and earnings of the aerospace sustainment program(s).
