We are looking for IT Security Systems Operator - Level 3 for Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) with a Security Clearance Level of Secret and English or Bilingual

We are looking for IT Security Systems Operator – Level 3 for Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) with a Security Clearance Level of Secret and English or Bilingual

1. The resource must demonstrate ten (10) years of work experience, completed within the last 15 years [based on the issuance date of the TA], providing services in an IT Security Systems Operator role, in accordance with the role activities described in Appendix A (Statement of Work).
In order to be considered, descriptions of work experience must include the following information:
a) For whom the work was performed;
b) When the work was performed (indicate start and end dates [mm/yyyy] to establish duration); and
c) A description of the scope of the work, relevant to the resource category role for which the resource is being proposed [please see Resource Category Equivalency in the Definitions].
2. The resource must demonstrate a minimum of two (2) Projects, undertaken within the past five (5) years [based on the TA issuance date] performing security information and event management (SIEM) rule-creation and tuning to create actionable alerts.
3. The resource must demonstrate a minimum of two (2) Projects, undertaken within the past five (5) years [based on the TA issuance date] configuring and maintaining security devices and appliances, including any two (2) of the following:
i) intrusion detection systems (IDS),
ii) intrusion prevention systems (IPS),
iii) Cloud compliance solutions – Cloud access security broker (CASB) or Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM);
iv) firewalls,
v) anti-Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) systems, and
vi) SIEM systems.
4. The resource must demonstrate a minimum of one (1) Project, responding to cyber security incidents, and recovering client capabilities, services, or data that were impacted by the security event, completed within the last 5 years [based on the issuance date of the TA].
5. The resource must demonstrate a minimum of one (1) Project, extracting and analyzing reports and logs for the detection of events that pose a risk to systems and data, completed within the last 5 years [based on the issuance date of the TA].
Note – In order to be considered under this criterion, a resource Project must provide the required information as set out in Resource Project Minimum Information and meet the Resource Project Minimum Duration, as set out in the Definitions in this section.
Note – Resource Project Equivalency applies to this criterion and a project may be used to demonstrate more than one of the areas above (i.e. items 2 – 5).
