We are looking for an Information/Records Management/Recordkeeping Specialist - Level 2 for the Department of National Defence with a Security Clearance Level of Secret.

We are looking for an Information/Records Management/Recordkeeping Specialist – Level 2 for the Department of National Defence with a Security Clearance Level of Secret.

1.The Bidder must submit a detailed resume for the proposed resource demonstrating that they meet the minimum mandatory requirements (educational, professional designations and work experience) for resource category:

2.11 Information/Record Management/Recordkeeping Specialist, Intermediate described below in TABLE 1.

Educational qualifications and professional certifications/designations should be supported by copies of appropriate documentation (degree, diploma or other verifiable proof).

The Bidder must submit a detailed résumé for the proposed resource, providing complete details as to where, when, month and year, and how, through which activities/responsibilities, the stated qualifications/experience were obtained.

2.The proposed resource must have a minimum of one year of demonstrated experience using RDIMS (Records, Document and Information Management System) or GC Docs, in any capacity, within the last 3 years as of bid closing.

3.The proposed resource must have a minimum of one year within last five years of demonstrated experience in managing documentation that is either controlled under the Canadian Controlled Goods Program or the US International Traffic and Arms Regulations.

4.The proposed resource must demonstrate a minimum of five years experience within the last ten years as of bid closing, in managing a technical data resource centre, including at a minimum: managing access control, track document status, controlling organizational structure of data/resource centre, etc.

A resource centre is defined as a library containing softcopy and hardcopy documents, CD’s and technical drawings that is accessed by twenty or more people.

5.The proposed resource must demonstrate a minimum of five years of experience within the past ten years as of bid closing, working in the field of Data Management in the following areas:

  1. Determining file plans* for technical data included at a minimum, but not limited to: drawings, test plans, procedures, reports and design change proposals;
  2. Following and providing improvement recommendations of standard operating procedures;
  3. Managing the physical storage of documents; and,
  4. Processing of document deliverables including: Preparing and sending acknowledgement of receipts, file downloading of documents, and distributing deliverables to intended recipient.

* Determining a file plan consist of, at a minimum, but is not limited to: recording, indexing and categorizing incoming materials and record management of incoming and outgoing materials

6.The proposed resource must demonstrate a minimum of two years within the last five years as of bid closing, of work experience in an engineering environment.

7.The proposed resource must have a minimum of three years within the last ten years as of bid closing, of demonstrated experience in the application of Configuration Management.  This includes, but is not limited to, control/processing of technical information to ensure if follows configuration management processes such revision control.
