We are looking for Database Analyst – Level 2 for Department of National Defence Canada with a Security Clearance Level of Secret

1). The Bidder’s proposed resource must have obtained:
A University degree at the Bachelor’s level in Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Science, or Mathematics.
Proof of Education and Professional Certification must be supported by copies of appropriate documentation: certificate/degree/diploma or the credentials attestation report must be included with the Bid Submission.
2). The Bidder’s proposed resource have at least eight (8) years of relevant work experience in the last twelve (12) years from the date of bid closing in the field of information management/information technology (IM/IT).
The Bidder must clearly demonstrate that the proposed resource meets this criterion by providing the resource’s resume with complete details of the experience, including:
• Name and description of client organization;
• Scope;
• Timeframe (from-to dates month/year); and
• Description of the resource’s roles and responsibilities.
3). The Bidder’s proposed resource must have at least of five (5) years of combined experience within the last ten (10) years from the date of bid closing in mapping business processes that support collaboration, storage, and the reporting of information. This must include, at a minimum, three (3) of the following four (4) functions:
1. Establishing governance
2. Analyzing and mapping business processes
3. Establishing metadata standards
4. Organizing repositories to satisfy requirements of both DND architecture framework and the Treasury Board Secretariat (TBS) Policy on Service and Digital and the Directive on Service and Digital at: https://www.tbs-sct.canada.ca/pol/doc-eng.aspx?id=32601 and https://www.tbs-sct.canada.ca/pol/doc-eng.aspx?id=32603
The Bidder must clearly demonstrate that the proposed resource meets this criterion by providing the resource’s resume with complete details of the experience, including:
• Name and description of client organization;
• Scope;
• Timeframe (from-to dates month/year); and
• Description of the resource’s roles and responsibilities.
4). The Bidder must clearly demonstrate that the proposed resource has at least five (5) years of within the last ten (10) years from the date of bid closing managing enterprise database administration assignments. These assignments must include each of the following:
1. Enhancing database performance;
2. Performing restores;
3. Implementing recovery procedures;
4. Handling performance tuning;
5. Conducting regular system backups as well as daily and weekly downloads;
6. Ensuring technical and functional designs are optimized for the business requirements; and
7. Designing reports.
The Bidder must clearly demonstrate that the proposed resource meets this criterion by providing the resource’s resume with complete details of the experience, including:
• Name and description of client organization;
• Scope;
• Timeframe (from-to dates month/year); and
• Description of the resource’s roles and responsibilities.
5). The Bidder’s proposed resource must have at least five (5) years of combined experience within the last ten (10) years from the date of bid closing managing, analysing and reporting using each of the following enterprise database tools:
1. ORACLE;
2. System, Application & Products (SAP); and
3. ACCESS.
The Bidder must clearly demonstrate that the proposed resource meets this criterion by providing the resource’s resume with complete details of the experience, including:
• Name and description of client organization;
• Scope;
• Timeframe (from-to dates month/year); and
• Description of the resource’s roles and responsibilities.
6). The Bidder’s proposed resource must have at least five (5) years of experience within the last ten (10) years from the date of bid closing in assessing and managing any risks to databases.
The Bidder must clearly demonstrate that the proposed resource meets this criterion by providing the resource’s resume with complete details of the experience, including:
• Name and description of client organization;
• Scope;
• Timeframe (from-to dates month/year); and
• Description of the resource’s roles and responsibilities
7). The Bidder’s proposed resource must have at least five (5) years of experience within the last ten (10) years from the date of bid closing working within the Government of Canada analyzing IT projects and providing technical assistance and guidance in terms of data storage, analysis and modeling.
The Bidder must clearly demonstrate that the proposed resource meets this criterion by providing the resource’s resume with complete details of the experience, including:

• Scope;
• Timeframe (from-to dates month/year); and
• Description of the resource’s roles and responsibilities
