Overview

We are looking for a Oracle Technical Analyst - Level 3 for the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada with a Security Clearance Level of Reliability.

We are looking for a Oracle Technical Analyst – Level 3 for the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada with a Security Clearance Level of Reliability.

1.The Bidder’s proposed resource must demonstrate a minimum of ten (10) years within the last 15 years of experience as an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Technical Analyst. ERP systems can include but are not limited to:

  • PeopleSoft
  • Oracle Financials
  • Maximo
  • SAP
  • JD Edwards

Experience will be demonstrated by providing the information below for each project. Overlapping projects will only be counted once. Each project much include:

  • The name of the client organization;
  • The period during which the service was provided;
  • A detailed outline of the services provided; and
  • Contact name, position/title and contact information (telephone number, email address, etc.) for verification purposes.

2.The Bidder’s proposed resource must have successfully completed a post-secondary program in an Information Technology (IT) Business or Finance related field or possess a combination of education, training and experience.

The following combinations of education, training, and/or experience constitute acceptable alternatives to the minimum post-secondary education:

  • Degree from a recognized university + five (5) year of experience in IM/IT OR
  • Successful completion of two years of post-secondary education + five (5) years of experience in IM/IT OR Successful completion of secondary school + specialized IM/IT training + five (5) years of experience in IM/IT in a field relevant to the position to be staffed.

3.The Bidder’s proposed resource must have at least Five (5) years’ experience within the past seven (7) years in a Technical Analyst role working with Oracle Financials. Experience will be demonstrated by providing the information below for each project. Overlapping projects will only be counted once. Each project much include:

  • The name of the client organization;
  • The period during which the service was provided;
  • A detailed outline of the services provided; and
  • Contact name, position/title and contact information (telephone number, email address, etc.) for verification purposes.

4.The bidder’s resource must have at least three (3) years’ experience within the past 5 years in a Technical Analyst role working with Oracle Financials Release 12.

Experience will be demonstrated by providing the information below for each project. Overlapping projects will only be counted once. Each project much include:

  • The name of the client organization;
  • The period during which the service was provided;
  • A detailed outline of the services provided; and
  • Contact name, position/title and contact information (telephone number, email address, etc.) for verification purposes.

5.The Bidder’s proposed resource must have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience designing and implementing data interfaces between Oracle Financials and external systems for the following components:

  • General Ledger
  • Purchasing
  • Inventory

Experience will be demonstrated by providing the information below for each project. Overlapping projects will only be counted once. Each project much include:

  • The name of the client organization;
  • The period during which the service was provided;
  • A detailed outline of the services provided; and
  • Contact name, position/title and contact information (telephone number, email address, etc.) for verification purposes.

6.The Bidder’s proposed resource must demonstrate through three (3) project summaries that demonstrate their experience working on Oracle Financials 11.5.10 or higher:

  • conducting functional analysis
  • preparing fit-gap and options analysis
  • developing formal requirements documents
  • developing use cases
  • developing and executing formal user acceptance test plans and

Experience will be demonstrated by providing the information below for each project. Overlapping projects will only be counted once. Each project much include:

 

  • The name of the client organization;
  • The period during which the service was provided;
  • A detailed outline of the services provided; and
