We are looking for a Network Security Analyst - Level 3 for the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions Canada with a Security Clearance Level of Secret.

We are looking for a Network Security Analyst – Level 3 for the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions Canada with a Security Clearance Level of Secret.

1.Detailed CV’s for proposed resource

The Bidder must submit a detailed CV for each proposed Network Security Analyst Level 3 demonstrating that they meet the TBIPS requirements, including but not limited to, the following first three (3) tasks listed in the category tasks description.

  • Review, analyze, and/or apply:
    1. Internet security protocols such as SSL, S-HTTP, S-MIME, IPSec, SSH
    2. TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, SMTP, SNMP
    3. Approved GC Cryptographic Algorithms
    4. Directory Standards such as X.400, X.500, and SMTP
    5. Networking Protocols (for example, HTTP, FTP, Telnet)
    6. Network hardening (for example: shell scripting, service identification)
    7. Technical IT Security safeguards
    8. IT Security tools and techniques
    9. Operating Systems such as MS, Unix, Linux, and Novell
    10. Intrusion detection systems and firewalls
    11. Network routers, multiplexers and switches
    12. Wireless technology
  • Analyze security data and provide advisories and reports
  • Conduct impact analysis for new software implementations, major configuration changes and patch management

The Bidder should list projects with start and end dates in months of experience for each applicable resource category as described in the respective TBIPS SA.

2.Work Experience

The Bidder’s proposed resource must demonstrate a 10+ years of work experience within the last fifteen (15) years of bid closing date, in an IT Security and Cyber Protection environment performing infrastructure and security monitoring, identifying and analyzing vulnerabilities of the organization’s network and providing risk management and mitigation as related to Annex A – Statement of Work.

Client project reference(s) must be provided.
