We are looking for an Incident Management Specialist - Level 3 for the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions Canada with a Security Clearance Level of Secret.

We are looking for an Incident Management Specialist – Level 3 for the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions Canada with a Security Clearance Level of Secret.

1.Detailed CV’s for proposed resource

The Bidder must submit a detailed CV for one (1) Incident Management Specialist Level 3 demonstrating that they meet the TBIPS requirements, including but not limited to, the following first three (3) tasks listed in the category tasks description.

  • Review, analyze, and/or apply:
    • Network scanners and vulnerability analysis tools such as SATAN, ISS, Portscan & NMap
    • Reporting and resolution procedures for IT Security incidents (for example DOS attacks) and International IT Security incident advisory services
    • Networking Protocols such as HTTP, FTP, Telnet
    • Internet security protocols such as SSL, S-HTTP, S-MIME, IPSec, SSH
    • TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, SMTP, SNMP
    • Intrusion detection systems, firewalls, content checkers and antivirus software
    • Network infrastructure components, such as multiplexers, routers/hubs, switches
  • Provide incident analysis support, including:
    • Response mechanisms
    • Co-ordination of all prevention and response plans
    • Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) activities
    • Co-ordination with the national Integrated Threat Assessment Centre and Government Operations Centre
    • Participation in the Integrated National Security Framework and National Cyber Security Strategy
  • Collect, collate, analyze and disseminate public domain information related to networked computer threats and vulnerabilities, security incidents and incident responses

The Bidder should list projects with start and end dates in months/years of experience for the applicable resource category as described in the respective TBIPS SA.

2.Work Experience

The Bidder’s proposed resource must demonstrate a 10+ years of work experience within the last fifteen (15) years of bid closing date, in an IT Security and Protection environment conducting incident analysis and developing incident prevention plans and response plans as related to Annex A – Statement of Work.

Client project reference(s) must be provided.
