About MDOS Consulting

We are looking for Enterprise Architects – Level 3 for the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) with a Security Clearance Level of Secret.

1. The Bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource has a minimum of 120 months of experience working as an Enterprise Architect.

From TOGAF, the term “Enterprise” in the context of “Enterprise Architecture” is used to denote both an entire enterprise (in our case CBSA) – encompassing all of its information and technology services, processes and infrastructure – and a specific domain within the enterprise.

CBSA has implemented a thorough Enterprise Architecture practice which is comprised of multiple domains: Business, Information/Data, Applications, Technology, Security and Privacy domains.

Throughout the RFP, when CBSA refers to “Enterprise Architect”, CBSA means a resource that has gained experience at the Enterprise level guiding the interrelated development of the above domains in a common Enterprise level framework. Therefore, solution architecture or product implementation experience does not count in Enterprise Architecture experience.

2. The Bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource has a minimum of 48 months of experience within the last 120 months from the bid closing date in an enterprise architecture organization* that delivers services with integrated architectural methods and approaches.

*An Enterprise Architecture organization is defined as an organization with the mandate to architect its parent organization from a strategic and enterprise-wide approach covering the following architecture domains: Business, Information/Data, Applications, Technology, Security and Privacy (BIATSP).

3. The Bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource has a minimum of 36 months of experience in the last 60 months from bid closing date, applying The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) framework in an Enterprise Architecture context.

For each project referenced in response to MT3, the Bidder must detail the type of work accomplished and how TOGAF was applied to the project by the proposed resource. Just stating that TOGAF was used in the project will not be considered substantiation.

4. The Bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource has a minimum of 24 months of experience in the last 60 months from bid closing date performing enterprise architecture level work in the Information/Data Architecture domain.

The Bidder must clearly describe the enterprise architecture level artefacts that the resource had produced in the Information/Data Architecture domain.

5. The Bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource has The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) certification.

A scanned, readable PDF copy of the certificate of completion from The Open Group is required.

6. The Bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource must have completed the Qualiware Lifecycle Manager (QLM) course.

A scanned, readable PDF copy of the certificate demonstrating course completion is required from a Qualiware certified training authority.
