Overview

We are looking for a Business Transformation Architect - Level 3 for the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (DFATD) with a Security Clearance Level of Secret.

We are looking for a Business Transformation Architect – Level 3 for the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (DFATD) with a Security Clearance Level of Secret.

1.The Bidder must submit the current resume of one (1) Business Transformation Architect Level 3 and must demonstrate using detailed project descriptions that the proposed resource has a minimum ten (10) years of experience as a Business Transformation Architect in accordance with the TBIPS Supply Arrangement EN578-170432.

The Bidder must demonstrate the proposed resource holds a current, valid Government of Canada SECRET or higher security clearance at the date and time of the RFP bid closing including the proposed resource’s full legal name, date of birth and security file number.

2.The Bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource has:

  1. Diploma or Degree in Business Administration or Commerce from a recognized College or University.
  2. a valid PMP (Project Management Professional) or Prince 2 certification
  3. a valid Cloud Essentials Specialist certification

A copy of the each diploma/certification must be submitted with the response

3.The Bidder must demonstrate using detailed project descriptions that the proposed resource has a minimum of two (2) projects within the last fifteen (15) years working as a Business Transformation Architect:

  1. involved in a large scale IM/IT initiative (a minimum of 5000 users)
  2. within a transformation program
  3. for a *complex organization.

*A complex organization is defined as one with multiple stakeholders in multiple locations with multiple multi-step business processes affecting IM/IT

4.The Bidder must demonstrate using detailed project descriptions that the proposed resource has a minimum seven (7) years of experience within the last fifteen (15) years supporting IM/IT projects by:

  1. analyzing current (as-is) processes,
  2. developing target (to-be) processes,
  3. developing options and gap analysis providing recommendations and
  4. developing impact, risk and cost analysis.

Note: The proposed resource could have worked on all four of these areas in one project.

5.The Bidder must demonstrate using detailed project descriptions that the proposed resource has a minimum five (5) years of experience within the last ten (10) years analyzing and supporting business transformation initiatives involving integrated risk assessment functionality in an IM/IT environment.

6.The Bidder must demonstrate using detailed project descriptions that the proposed resource has a minimum of one (1) project within the last five (5) years using CA Clarity for Application Portfolio Management in accordance to TBS guidelines and principles.
